Having studied a Fine Art Degree at Staffordshire University Jonathan moved to North Norfolk where the light and space inspired him to create a series of beach paintings which lead to beginning of his professional career. 

Following his newfound success, a trip to Kenya and Tanzania led Jonathan on an adventure through the vibrant colours and forms of Africa, which would soon became the main body of his work. Jonathan found acclaim for his sculpture and paintings working, amongst others; with Ikea, The Born Free Foundation, WaterAid and Wrasse Records.

More recently Jonathan has been captivated by landscapes closer to home in his beloved adopted county of Wiltshire.
